Project Officer - Polli:Nation

14 hrs per week. Home based, to cover Wales/Midlands/North of England. Salary range £22,660 – £29,870 pro rata + 5% contribution to pension

Learning through Landscapes is recruiting for a part-time project officer to help with the delivery of it’s HLF funded Polli:Nation project, a four year project to help schools across the UK transform their grounds and communities into pollinator friendly habitats.

With a passion for nature conservation and engaging children in their natural environment, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience developing and delivering training or professional development for adults and a commitment to learning outside the classroom, with a proven track record in these areas.   A broad knowledge and understanding of the English National Curriculum to KS4 is essential and we will be looking for a degree standard education with fluency in the English language.

The use of a car and a full driving licence is required for the essential travel around England and Wales (and on occasions other parts of the UK).

Project Officer - Enterprise Growing Gardens

15 hrs per week. Home based, London Area. Salary range £22,660 – £29,870 pro rata + 5% contribution to pension

Learning through Landscapes is pleased to announce it’s successful funding from the City Bridge Trust for a new London project, Enterprise Growing Gardens.  As a result, we are looking to recruit a part-time project officer to deliver this 2 year project working with schools, local businesses and the local community.

You will have a passion for developing school or community gardens, in particular food growing and harvesting, and have at least 2 years recent experience of working within the education sector.   Qualified to degree level in a relevant field, with a fluency in the English language you will also be IT literate including having website knowledge.  Experience of developing and delivering training and workshops for adults along with project management and financial skills will also be an advantage.
