Learning through Landscapes and Grounds for Learning depend on the support of government agencies, funding bodies and the public sector to carry out its life changing work around the UK. Individuals can also lend their support to our campaign by becoming a Friend of LTL.

How to become a friend
Supporting Learning through Landscapes and Grounds for Learning

Friends of LTL receive a copy of the latest newsletter six times a year and an annual report. Everyone who donates £25 per year or more to the Trust is automatically added to our Friends of LTL list.

By making a donation to the Trust, your money will be used where the need is greatest - whether it be researching ways to reduce bullying through better playground design, setting up a new 'growing club' in a local school or producing a pack of free resources for teachers to encourage outdoor learning. Supporting Learning through Landscapes with a regular donation is the best way to help. You can donate to Learning through Landscapes in the following ways:

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is an excellent way to support our work. When you choose Payroll Giving your donation is taken from your pay before tax is deducted. The Inland Revenue gives the Trust the tax it would otherwise have kept. In other words it lets you give even more at no extra cost to you. The table below illustrates this tax effective way of giving.

How to donate to Learning through Landscapes by Payroll Giving:

  1. First ask your payroll officer if your organisation has a payroll scheme in place. If they do, they will be able to provide you with a form to fill in where you can put down the amount you would like to donate each payday and the charity you would like to support e.g. Learning through Landscapes Trust - £10.
  2. If your organisation doesn't have a payroll scheme in place, then please suggest they start one. It is easy to set-up and inexpensive to run. For more information about the benefits of payroll giving please see the Inland Revenue website: www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/payrollgiving
