Aims of the day:
For designers to share, develop and expand their understanding of the breadth of the educational and developmental needs of children and teachers - so that they can incorporate these principles into the design of school grounds.
In addition participants will be able to champion the external environments of schools within the whole site design and work within a design team to ensure the best possible grounds for the whole school, and wider, community.
Who is this day for?
This CPD is targeted at Landscape Architects although it would also be valuable for Architects and other designers involved in schools capital programmes.
LTL Accreditation
This day can also be taken as part of LTL’s own Accreditation programme. Taken in combination with a school grounds base-line day and associated assessment this can result in the status of LTL Accredited School Grounds Landscape Advisor. For more information on LTL’s accredition click here
