The training course and resource package was piloted in 8 schools in four areas across Scotland - Highland, North Lanarkshire, Inverclyde and Dumfries and Galloway.
Each school participated in the training course and was then supported to develop their growing areas with the involvement of both the school community and representatives from the wider community.
The final training course and resource pack reflects the outcomes and real life experiences of these schools but have been developed with flexibility in mind to meet the needs of any age group and stage of school grounds development.
Who is it for?
The course is aimed at adults, including teaching staff, classroom assistants and parents, but children in P6, P7 and at Secondary school would also benefit from being involved. What should I do now?Contact gfl@ltl.org.uk or phone 01259 220 887 for more information to book a course. |
