How we work
LTL focuses on giving children and young people a say in the way these spaces are used and improved. Our work allows children to create and nurture their own environment, helping their self-esteem to grow, along with their potential to learn and achieve.

Championing, advocacy and research on behalf of children and young people:
  • Working with government and other public sector agencies at a national and regional level to raise the profile of school grounds.
  • Championing children's entitlement to stimulating outdoor spaces.
  • Investigating the role school grounds play in child development.
