Through a range of programmes and initiatives we aim to provide opportunities for children and young people to contribute to and shape this agenda.

For the past five years LTL has worked in partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop our Sense of Time and Place programme with young people. The programme aims to challenge the traditional perception of heritage and encourages young people explore what heritage means to them.

We are really excited by the prospect of London hosting the 2012 Olympic Games but want to make sure that children throughout the country have the opportunity to benefit from this “once in a lifetime” opportunity. We are seeking to work with the Olympic Organising Committee and Sport England to explore ways in which we can instil the Olympic spirit in all children, regardless of their ability, and bring the Olympics to their school community.
