We have worked with a wide range of partners on both large and small scale projects, nationally and locally, to benefit thousands of children and support the work of those involved. We have developed programmes to reflect a partner's business activities or their geographic interests and have enabled employees to make a positive contribution to their local community. Grants and awards for schools and settings Funding to help transform dreams into reality always makes a big difference. Our programmes usually require the whole school community to complete a thorough planning process to ensure that funds are wisely spent.
Advice and support A vital element of all our programmes is the expert advice and support we can offer. This can be provided through mailings, online resources, dedicated phone and email enquiry lines or site visits from our network of professionals, accredited in training and/or facilitation. With over 100 Accredited Professionals we have the capacity throughout the UK to deliver programmes – both regionally and nationally as no school is far away from someone who can help.
-
Accredited Trainers can run courses to enable staff, parents, governors or your colleagues to ensure their grounds are used to their full potential through after school training to day-long events and conferences.
-
Accredited Facilitators work with whole school communities to help them work together. They engage different members of the community to identify their needs and move through the process of changing their grounds with confidence. Developing resources Our projects often include the creation of new resources - from printed activity packs to online resources or school grounds toolkits. We have a long history of producing high-quality, curriculum focused resources.
Research All our programmes include evaluation, but further research can be added to increase knowledge about the importance of outdoor play and learning, and the benefits from pupil invovlement in transforming their outdoor spaces. Examples of past research can be read on our research pages
