Printed resources
Over 9,000 schools and settings register to receive the themed National School Grounds Week resource pack every year. In 2005 the pack, sponsored by Persil, was a real hit: 95% felt it was of a high quality, and 84% thought it contained a good range of activities for the age of their pupils.

The DfES Innovation Unit supported the creation of WORKOUT, the secondary school grounds toolkit, which guides secondary schools through every stage of improving their grounds, and provides inspirational case studies and practical resources.

Resource boxes
Our range of resource boxes enable schools and settings to get outdoors and engage with their environment. Themed early years resource boxes crammed full of fun objects have been hugely popular, as have school grounds surveying toolkits consisting of digital cameras, dictaphones, pedometers and tape measures.

Online lesson ideas
A number of our programmes have resulted in lesson ideas, tested in real life by practising teachers. These are online to allow us to share this good practice with others. Read some of the lesson ideas generated through our work with teachers in Clackmannanshire

Films
Outdoors for Everyone is an inspirational DVD which looks at the powerful benefits of positive outdoor play experiences. Funded by the SureStart unit, this DVD has been successfully used by early years settings across the country.

Other programmes have charted their success through films that can be shared online. Watch how Jessop Primary transformed their grounds through the help of RBS Dream Playground project.

Resource Packs
Resource packs for specific programmes include the RBS Supergrounds resource file and the Learning Together pack, produced in partnership with the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations and DEFRA.
