Doing different, not more.
Whole School Approach Outdoor Learning
This course takes a focussed, whole school approach to raising attainment through the use of quality outdoor learning and play. We think this course is unique, based on clear evidence of impact and blending play, outdoor learning and sustainability themes.

How does the course work?
Based on the evidence of increased learner motivation, confidence and a rich context for learning, this programme works with the staff team of an individual school over the course of a year.
Learning for sustainability and outdoor learning will become embedded in practice, through ‘doing different, not more’. Based on the topics and curricular areas you have to teach, we will support staff to make simple, low resource changes to practice that maximise the opportunity in school grounds and local spaces for learning.
In addition we can create a Playtime Revolution, allowing true play time for your pupils and delivering them back to the classroom having rested, played and learned in ‘teacher free learning time’.
In Scotland, the programme has Accreditation for Professional Recognition for all GTCS registered staff.
