Putting it into Practice is a year long programme to work with teachers throughout the year - both during INSET days and at their own setting. This innovative training programme helped teachers understand outdoor learning and give them the skills and confidence to use their school outdoor spaces creatively and effectively for learning.

How does it work?
The programme has a strong emphasis on active and reflective learning and will involve each teacher planning, running and evaluating a number of outdoor lessons with their class in their school grounds. The programme includes 2 full training days [on Clackmannanshire INSET days], 2 twilights and a dedicated tutor to help plan, run and evaluate outdoor lessons in school.
