Accredited Trainers can help schools and settings plan and implement the improvements they would like to make in their outdoor spaces. Accreditation enhances the work you are planning or already delivering and provides a structure to your work that ensures consistent results.
The initial one-day School Grounds Base-line Course looks at the principles and practicalities of school grounds use, design and management from a practitioner's perspective, including project planning and curriculum links.
Following the completion of this day you can attend the Accredited Trainer course. Participants need to pass a two-part assessment at the end of this course in order to achieve full accreditation:
- Written assignment - assessing your understanding of the basics of school grounds use, design and management, and training;
- Practical assessment – delivering your own training session on an approved theme.
