Growing Schools Garden

There have now been two Growing Schools Gardens exhibited at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, the first in 2002 and the second in 2007. Both gardens are part of the highly acclaimed DCSF Growing Schools Initiative. Designed as a centre of excellence in school grounds use, the gardens continue to offer inspired ideas to increase pupils' interest and involvement in the national curriculum in their new locations – the first at the Environmental Education Centre in Eltham, South London, and the second at Birmingham Botanical Gardens (opening 2008).
