Who we accredit
All attendees will have at least two years experience of leading outdoor learning and play, ideally in a leadership or coaching role and across more than one setting. Attendees often have a significant breadth of experience, typically in areas such as teacher, early years educator, Forest School Level 3+ training, leadership, outdoor NGB’s, nature therapy, play leadership or academia.
We accredit those who have a understand good teaching and learning, how to coach others in using different a different pedagogy, how our environment is a key influence on learning, health and wellbeing. Our programme is about setting vision for outdoor learning and play, leading culture change and working through challenges with colleagues in schools and nurseries. We don’t teach you to lead outdoor learning – you will already have those skills.
If you are happy speaking to head teachers one minute and jumping in puddles the next, and want to share that passion and insight with others, this is the course for you.
Our LtL Professional Accreditation is popular with other NGO’s and others around the world as they seek to further their work. Recent years have seen colleagues from Australia, Singapore, Belgium, Greece and Germany attend the course.
The accreditation is not aimed at classroom practitioners or early years educators looking to take learning and play outdoors – we have a variety of other courses you can browse here.
The LtL Network
Successful completion of the assessment will allow you membership of the LtL Network, a group of around 50-60 professionals.
