New CEO for LTL

16 May 2017

We are delighted to be able to announce that Carley Sefton will be taking over as CEO for LTL from August 2017.

Carley comes to us from the multi-academy sponsor Oasis Community Learning where she was most recently the Community Hub Manager for Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill which included a school farm as part of its provision.

Carley has a strong track record in communication across a wide range of media including extensive experience in television in a previous post. She also has demonstrable experience in income generation.

Carley says: "I believe that in this digital age the work of Learning Through Landscapes has never been more important, over the past 25 years their vision has changed the face of outdoor learning in the U.K. Through their influence of policy, and focus on improving provision and training the exceptional LTL team have enhanced 100,000's of people's educational experience and I'm honoured to have be appointed their CEO. I have been lucky enough to see first-hand the positive impact of outdoor learning at every age. I hope that this experience, along with my passion for alternative and enhanced education, will allow me to lead LTL into its next chapter while continuing to promote this important sector of education."

Juno Hollyhock, outgoing Executive Director for LTL says: "I am absolutely delighted with Carley's appointment. She has been a powerful and transformative force in her career to date and I am very excited to see what innovations she brings to LTL. Watch this space!"
