Place Responsive Learning Webinar

7th May 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

place based place responsive learning

Please use this link to register for the LtL Place Responsive Outdoor Learning Webinar

Place responsive learning (or place based learning) is a way of engaging with the communities and spaces which we live or visit. It is deeply motivating and transformative of learning and teaching.

We have all experienced moments where we immerse ourselves in the world around us – from our own streets to mountaintops, learning about your hometown’s history, wondering at nature, using our imagination or meeting new friends.

Formal learning can lever this type engagement. Even in this time of lockdown, can we motivate and engage our learners by using their own street, view from home or intergenerational conversations.

We will take you through some theory of Place Responsive Learning and insight into the power of this approach to learning, then take you through some practical ideas of how to implement them as home learning or when we return to school.

This webinar is ideal for teachers in primary and secondary school.

The webinar will be recorded and every participant will receive a follow-up email full of information and ideas.
