Supergrounds Scotland

An evaluation of our Supergrounds project demonstrated significant benefits for children's learning and development, concluding that a Supergrounds project increased the average time children spend learning and playing outside by one hour per week, per child, which equates to around 35,000 Scottish children spending an extra hour outdoors each week. Other key findings include:

85% said that their children had a better awareness of the environment.

89% said that their children were having more fun and were happier.

91% of schools felt that Supergrounds had introduced new ways of teaching and learning.

84% of schools went on to make further improvements to their grounds.
