Training

The Local Schools Nature Grants program includes one 2 hour training course, which can be selected from a menu of five different sessions grouped by level.

This page lists each of the training sessions available to help you decide if you would like to apply for a grant, and what training would best suit your setting. Schools will need to specify the training that they would like as part of their online application.

Key information

  • The training sessions are grouped by stage – Key stages 1 & 2 (First and Second Level in Scotland), Key stages 3+ (Third and Fourth Level in Scotland).
  • The training is for adults, and lasts for two hours.
  • The session is for as many adults as you can muster! We will ask you to confirm numbers when we arrange your training date.
  • Training will be delivered within three months of the application being successful.
  • The training will be delivered at the school.
