John is a retired Secondary Headteacher who in the latter part of his career worked for Building Schools for the Future, a DfE project to rebuild all Secondary Schools nationally.
About John
He currently chairs the School Playing Fields Advisory Panel, advising the Government on the legality of school land sales. Throughout his varied career he has worked for the Institute of Education (London) and Sussex University, has been a Chair of Governors and President of the London Region of the National Association of Headteachers. John is married to a, now retired, Primary School Teacher and has two children and three grandchildren.
